The lens of power and governance as they shape people’s lives — how governments, institutions, and their proxies maneuver, control, oppress, or (more rarely worth noting) function in genuine service.

Reach for this lens when the analytical move is about power affecting people through institutional or quasi-institutional means, whether the analysis is critical (dark money, captured agencies, systems of oppression) or constructive (governance done well, collective public action, functional public servants).

The broadest political lens; the others (Fascism, Anarchy, Socialism) are specific positions or systems within the political dimension. Often co-occurs with Capitalism, Propaganda, Injustice, or Hypocrisy — that co-occurrence is informative, not redundant.
